Our grade 3 students were focused on building and strengthening their dictionary skills. Teacher provided students with a set of words, and their task was to draw pictures representing these words and write down their meanings. The goal was to help students connect visual images with the meanings of words, making the learning process both engaging and effective. They drew pictures that best represented each word, allowing them to better visualize and understand the meaning. Afterward, the students looked up the meanings of the words and wrote them . This helped them not only learn the definitions but also gain confidence in using dictionaries and finding information independently. The activity encouraged creativity and critical thinking, as students had to think carefully about how to represent each word visually. It was a fun and educational way to reinforce vocabulary skills while making learning more interactive. They took great care in their drawings and demonstrated a solid understanding of the words and their meanings.
